“Sandra Shore” is the pseudonym of Aleksandra Shornikova, a digital media specialist, writer and photographer currently based in Dublin, Ireland. She specialises in documentary, portraiture, and nature photography. Passionate about stories that matter, she values honesty above all.

Originally from Kaliningrad, a small town in north-west Russia, Aleksandra moved to Canada in year 2012 to study Independent Digital Photography at Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology in Toronto. Having successfully completed her studies, she then moved to Ireland to pursue further education. She has been since awarded Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Journalism and Visual Media and Master of Arts in Critical and Creative Media.

She spent a number of years working in the media, both as a freelancer and as part of a busy team in a well-known Irish-American news media organisation. At present she is employed full-time in the education sector.
